Mary J Blige's catalogue is deep. We know the hits. We know the remixes. But there will always be songs that get lost in the shuffle or buried under the others. For instance, take 1995's "Be With You (Remix)" featuring the great Lauryn Hill. 1995 was just before The Fugees were about to breakout with their classic album "The Score," and a couple years after her turn in "Sister Act 2," along with The Fugees debut album "Blunted on Reality." Looking at it in script form and seeing Mary J Blige and Lauryn Hill on the same track is such a gem to view. The smoothness and head nod factor of this track puts it in that category of songs that you can listen to first thing in the morning or relaxing in the late night hours and it wouldn't make a difference. It has that Saturday morning vibe, yet also a Friday night vibe. When songs can generate that type of feeling, they've succeeded. Enjoy the mid 90s collabo you didn't know you needed.
